A major oil and gas transportation company in Algeria recently faced a challenge: as oil production in southern oilfields increased, more crude oil needed to be transported to northern refineries. Algeria’s transportation environment has unique characteristics—one-way distances from oilfields to refineries often exceed 500 kilometers, and the central region experiences high temperatures in summer and sandstorms in winter, placing high demands on the stability and weather resistance of tanker trucks. Addressing these characteristics, Mulincan’s team proposed a customized solution: considering the customer sometimes needs to transport both crude oil and associated natural gas condensates, a dual-compartment tank with independent controls was designed to prevent mixing of different media. For high temperatures and sandstorms, the tank’s thermal insulation layer and ventilation system were optimized to prevent abnormal pressure inside the tank; meanwhile, the vehicle body’s sealing was enhanced to reduce sand and dust from entering key components.

More importantly, Algeria has strict local certification standards for dangerous goods transportation. Mulincan’s team proactively collaborated with local authorities to ensure the trailer’s braking system, safety protection devices, and other components fully complied with certification requirements, avoiding issues during subsequent customs clearance and operation. The customer was highly satisfied with the comprehensiveness of the solution and soon signed a procurement contract for 10 trailers.
